Tanya is a dark fawn brindle girl with a blocky head and a deep chest. The profile of head and neck is very similar to Lila and she is now as tall as her mom. She is a quiet girl, likes to curl up beside you on the couch, loves to chew bones (and sometimes the odd slipper!) and has a great time striding through the bush on our daily walks. She is a thinker. She keeps track of where every tasty bone in the house is and when the other dogs are distracted, she’ll unobtrusively retrieve the one she’s decided is best. She’ll be the one who figures out that it’s bedtime so she has to race upstairs to grab her mom’s bed! She is not overly crazy about showing but takes it as something to endure. So far, Tanya is halfway to her Canadian championship and I hope that she’ll complete it this year.
